But then the Orthoptist which Colin was meant to see yesterday afternoon, phoned to reschedule again! However this time, it all ended up being rather useful. Firstly it meant Colin was offered an early appointment this morning which made parking so much easier(!), and secondly, Jane was able to ensure the information about Colin's rare brain tumour and it's association with the ocular variety was known about.
So, that's where we've been today - Colin had his visual field test at Worcestershire Royal Hospital performed by a very proficient Senior Orthoptist. And although he has to wait for the official results when he sees the consultant on the 21st, there appeared to be little change from the previous test conducted at the beginning of Sept last year. Let's hope that proves to be the case from the consultant's point of view.
