On returning from the hospital this morning we were met by the post which had delivered an appointment for Colin to have his hearing assessment. This is to be on the 24th February. The next appointment Colin has at Worcester is on the 13th February with the Neuropsychologist.
The last week or so has been fairly busy. Last Monday Colin made his second visit to Regents to do some more volunteering. This time he was asked to produce printed titles for the video collection after finishing off the reference library map work he'd been doing the week before. This task was more difficult and Colin says he's still not "got his head around it".
Tuesday was a good day weather-wise and so we took full advantage of it when we met up with a good friend to go for a walk. We chose the path up to Worcester Beacon as at least this is tarmac and not slippery following the wet weather. We managed to get right to the top (even Colin!) - good views from there as always - and we followed that with a hot chocolate at the Geocafe.
Jane had business in Ledbury on Wednesday afternoon so Colin took advantage of this to visit his old friend for a natter, cups of tea and several flapjacks! - well two actually, and very good they were too!
And so another week has gone by......tomorrow it's a 'normal' appointment with the optician (is there no end to the appointment list?). Thanks to all of you who have been keeping up with this blog and to those who have been in touch recently. Sorry to delay updating this....will try harder next time.
Colin and Jane.
