We have had a quiet Christmas here in Malvern and this year were joined by the Octogenarian, which we hadn't been for some years. It's a bit easier being 10 mins drive away rather than a good two hours!
On the Tuesday before Christmas Colin did his last stint of 2014 volunteering at Regents in West Malvern. This has been the one volunteering slot he has been able to keep up and has enjoyed continuing with this year. He joined the other volunteers and some staff on Tuesday for the Christmas lunch, which he enjoyed very much.
Some of Colin's very old walking group, otherwise known as the 'YHA Group' are hoping that Colin will make it to their biennial walk and get-together in April. Well, unless members in the group are prepared to carry him around the walk, we think the walk may not be a good thing to try, as it is likely the brain will give up making the legs work and keeping the body upright in favour of more important tasks well before the end of the walk! However if there is a place to meet up afterwards, then we may give that one a go and look forward to it.
Here's wishing you all a Merry New Year!
Colin and Jane.
