A hectic week so far, but more fun with meetings that I have arranged. Monday was a very enjoyable morning with friends Upton way (including coffee and biscuits) - though we were meant to be chatting about a church magazine I help to compile on the computer. The refreshments were good - now, did we make any decisions? And Monday pm to tea (and....) along the road here. Doing well, eh? And yesterday a plate full of scones were brought round by our kind neighbour - and very good they were too. (Now, is there a diet book handy?).
A really nice warm day Tuesday today and a busy one. Entertaining with coffee (and biscuits) here as an ex-colleague visited. Then, following a kind invite from another friend, made the most with a walk round Croome Park with a quick visit to the teashop! Great views if a little damp around - shallow 'lakes' where we hadn't seen them before (ie meant to be fields). Good to be out on a warm day at last - but seems it may not last - oh, well, never mind.
And just managed to speak to one of Jane's friend (and mine, I hope) to say "Hello Grandma" which is her new title (and so young too?).
Now more mundane matters:
My next MRI scan is due on Monday March 4th followed by the consultant on Thursday 7th to find out what, if anything can be seen (other than a few normal brain cells?).
I have heard from a few people via email that they follow this blog - I must try and put a few more blogs here to avoid disappointment! - but don't want to get too boring.
As I've been reminded today by email from other friends, tea and cake figures often - best 'medicine' I can think of. And I know quite a few prefer email than the blog which is fine (I do the same with other friends who have blogs).
I also wanted to say I set this blog up about a year ago and promptly went to Worcester which is why all the initial comments sent here were left until my return - they were all read by Jane and myself but I just published a few of them.
When you reply with a comment here you are met with a message saying it will be 'moderated' before publication. We have done this so that we can check if the comments contain any personal information which ought not to be published to the world. Hopefully it all makes sense to our family and friends!
