There was discussion around Colin's memory problems and coordination/balance problems, and the Oncologist explained how complex the brain's working is to keep human beings walking upright! So it is no wonder, given the potential damage to the brain from the tumour and the treatment, that Colin has some difficulty walking on certain terrain. The oncology team would investigate if there is any other help available for the memory issues.
The plan is to have another appointment with the Oncologist in 3 months time but not to scan for another 6 months. In short, the medics rely on us to tell them if something is going wrong and hopefully, if it was, they would arrange an interim scan. But hey - let's hope this won't be necessary!
