Well, not quite...the trip that is. We were within shouting distance of it though as we decided to use the Park & Ride this time, as the appointment with the Consultant Haematologist at Worcester Royal Hospital was made for such a time in the day when we could be pretty sure there would be no parking spaces left! And indeed, from the bus window, this looked much the case.
The results of my latest blood test are reportedly better. Haemoglobin have returned to near normal although blood platelets are still slightly low. Good news on the Creatine front in that it has decreased since last time although it is near the top end of the normal range but nothing to be concerned about. My next appointment with this Consultant is scheduled for the middle of May.
Before that I am due to see the Consultant Oncologist at Cheltenham at the beginning of March which will follow the next MRI scan. I shall return to Worcester Royal next week for an appointment with someone who may be able to help me with my memory problems. Will wait and see what this entails!
In the meantime we shall keep up with my peers in the brain tumour world and go along to the next Hammer Out Brain Tumours support group meeting this coming Friday at Worcester. This is always a good session where we exchange experiences and useful pieces of information.
And finally, and especially to all those of you who are faithfully and patiently following this blog, a happy New Year to you all!
Colin.
