On Friday we saw the GP to review my medicine, then via home to Worcester to the "Hammer Out" S Worcs group - set up to help people with brain tumours. We had an interesting discussion with a few people who understand the consequences of having a brain tumour from first hand experience and that does help. It was also a revelation that Worcs has no facilities at all for diagnosis of brain tumours, so all referrals are to Coventry, Brum or Cheltenham!
Saturday saw the arrival of my sister and brother-in-law. It was very enjoyable seeing them and so much nicer than when I was in hospital! It was over all too quickly but it was very enjoyable for us all.
I have heard from the Consultant that as well as the referral to Cheltenham, she is also seeking advice from the UK chair of the CNS Lymphoma group.
As the weather has at last been fine and sunny, we went for a walk round Eastnor Park and it was really good to be out and about in the sunshine and fresh air.
