Colin had his scan results this afternoon at Cheltenham Hospital. One of the Consultant's team of doctors reported that the scan taken two weeks ago shows no active disease but that the area of the brain where the abnormality showed last time doesn't look normal. She offered no explanation for this. However she did say that the amount of time the positive affect of the radiotherapy lasts cannot be predicted - it could be a short time or long time. So they will continue to scan at three monthly intervals.
So we shall try to "make the most of every moment" although this can be difficult at the moment as Colin gets quite tired - a predictable outcome of the radiotherapy. However we did manage to have a lovely lunch with a good friend on Monday of this week and followed this with a walk around Hanbury Hall gardens (NT) in the afternoon.
