I had the MRI scan on Monday and was assured that was in time. We duly arrived on Thursday and after a long(!) wait, we found that the scan had not been there long and not seen by my consultant - it was seen by one of the doctors, but it seems that since I have a rare type, she could only say she there seemed no difference from the previous one - as promised, the consultant rang me at home on Sunday evening and confirmed that was so.
The Cobalt Unit that does the scan is next to the hospital, but it seems the admin system is not capable of communicating results within 4 days - it would take about 2 minutes to walk with it! I do have great faith and respect for the medical staff there, but the organisational aspects could do with a bit of rearranging to say the least!
So I have intended to get on with the garden, but every day seems too wet or too cold - hopefully soon it will be too hot? Or there are jobs in the house if I was really bored!
