After a few enjoyable days at home, I had an appointment at Worcester to meet the specialists there and to find out about the planned treatment. I had a long and very useful consultation with the doctor. It transpires that while the drugs have reduced the lymphona, the appropriate treatment is chemotherapy, which is planned to start next week. It will consist of 3 days of treatment involving 5 to 7 days in hospital and repeated every 3-4 weeks for 3-4 cycles. I have an initial appointment in about a week to start some preliminary procedures prior to admission. I seems the first cycle of treatment will start as soon as possible, and I will wait to hear.

Your blog is a really great idea - and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks! Very glad to hear that you do now have a definite treatment plan. Mary and I are keeping you in our prayers.
