Anyway, to cut a long story short - the results of Colin's recent blood tests were fine. This means that there was no sign of any lymphoma or other cancer in any other part of the body - this does not mean that there is none in the brain, as this won't show on the blood tests (it hasn't each other time). In addition, the consultant carried out a physical examination of the lymph nodes and confirmed no abnormality. So that was all good and another appointment has been made for 4 months hence.
It being such a lovely day weatherwise, we decided to go on from there to take in a little retail therapy at Webbs in Wychbold (well a coffee and a trip to the new Lakeland) and then on to NT Hanbury Hall for a wander round and a spot of lunch. It got incredibly hot at Hanbury tho' so we didn't venture very far.
Yesterday, Colin had his very long awaited appointment for his hearing aid fitting. This went OK and now he has to wait another 4 weeks or so to collect it and get instructions on how to use it - and it will be programmed by a computer....hmmm.....just a small matter of programming eh!
That's all for now folks! The next medical appointment is with the Consultant Oncologist at Cheltenham next Thursday for the MRI scan results. As always, we await this appointment with a good deal of trepidation!!
Colin and Jane.
