So now we wait until then and hope the rain stays away!
One advantage of yesterday was they wanted me at 9:30 so we had the rest of the day in Cheltenham..

Well, after seeing reports of the River Severn at various levels for the last few days, we managed to get to Cheltenham yesterday (with only a small diversion round Upton-on-Severn (Upton-in-Severn?)) for my MRI scan - the now all too familiar whirrs, clunks and other noises - which even Jane could hear from the waiting room. (Aren't ear plugs wonderful?).Now we wait until the appointment next Thursday 6th Dec for results ( though I'm sure I'd hear sooner if anything untoward was found).

I have my appointment in Cheltenham with the consultant booked (Dec 6th), but it seems my MRI appointment at the Cobalt Unit has "got lost somewhere" so I'm now waiting for a cancellation so that I can make the consultant appointment. (The phrase "Nothing can go wrong" springs to mind!)
Otherwise all going well apart from the weather - I did have an enjoyable walk with the Powick Ramblers (the last time I walked with them was Ombersley in January!!) Pity it was quite misty - did see plenty of muddy tracks and a few hedges. But the company made up for the lack of views!! Was going on next ramble on Tuesday but from the current forecast, maybe not!! Will post here when MRI done and results known. Colin |
