On the 10th Sept we went to Cheltenham (again) for the Hammer Out Brain Tumour Support Meeting where a rep from the Gloucestershire Carers (like the Worcestershire association of carers to whom Jane belongs) gave a talk about the support they can give to carers. The discussion was interesting in as much that we all acknowledged the problem that the information about this organisation is not easily found or indeed available. The rep asked us for our input on what help we think is needed too.
On the 11th Sept we had a visit from Colin's sister and brother-in-law which was enjoyable. It was good to have a catch-up as we hadn't seen each other since Colin had his radiotherapy.
Most of Thursday was spent with Colin (and some of Jane!) compiling the Priory magazine. With the majority of it sorted, the remaining elements were completed Friday in time to send the draft to the Editor. The final copy was sent to the printers on Monday afternoon after returning from Worcester Hospital. It was good to be able to achieve another edition!!
The remainder of the week was spent gardening and today (Wednesday) we both had a lovely day visiting Croome Park with a good old friend - and it didn't get worse!
That's all for now, folks!
Colin & Jane.
